Entry 9

 

I recently read Crime and Punishment and I love it so, so much. But who´s the author? Don´t know much about him, and the ability to acquiered that knowledege of his works neither his beautiful style of writting novels, but I´ll try my best to explained it.

So, the protagonist is Raskolnikov, a young man living in a poor flat in Russia, more exactly in San Petersburgo. Heis studies are on law, on crimes commited and the moral problematics itself. Tells us about the Crime commited by any person, creating an hurting atmosphere around the mind, just by that, regardless if anyone have seen it. Raskolnikov went through that, murdering a poor old woman, purchasing things and selling them. Raskolnijov murdered her, just to prove something: if he was a person who was above the others, who wanted the supremacy of power. But, unfortunately that didn´t happen. Only sumerged himself on a dark abyss that couldn´t escape, acumulating punishments from that crime, phsycological punishments that hurt no one but himself.
